Delete Your Account

You can delete your TennisLadder.NET account at any time, from the website or from the TennisLadder app. Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately.
How to delete your account
- Sign in on this page (or in the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account).
- Ask for a confirmation code; we email a six-digit code to the address on your account. If you have a password you can use it instead.
- Enter the code and confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
Can't sign in any more? Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account: name, email address, password, phone number, profile photo, skill level and profile details
- Your ladder memberships, sign-in sessions and devices registered for notifications
- Organizations you own, with their ladders and tournaments (see below)
What is kept
- Results of matches you played stay in your opponents' history, shown under the name you had when they were played, so their records remain accurate
- Payment and tax records that the law requires us to keep (held by Stripe and in our billing records)
- Photos you added to a match stay on that match, no longer linked to you
- A short internal log entry that the account was deleted, kept for security and abuse prevention
If you organize a ladder that other players are still active in, or an organization with a paid plan, we will tell you what to sort out first (hand the ladder over or cancel the plan) before the account can be deleted.
