Install the app

TennisLadder works on the website and in the app for iPhone and Android. Your account, ladders, and matches are the same in both. You do not need the app to play. The website works on any phone, tablet, or computer.

Install and sign in

1. Install TennisLadder from the App Store on iPhone or from Google Play on Android.
2. Open the app and tap Continue with email.
3. Enter the email address you use on TennisLadder and type the 6 digit code we email you.

If you already have an account from the website, you land on your Home screen with your ladders. You do not need a password in the app.

Get around the app

The app has five tabs:

• Home: your move, your next match, your ladders, and recent results.
• My ladders: every ladder you are on, plus your match history.
• Discover: ladders and tournaments near you.
• Inbox: your notifications.
• Me: your profile, availability, and settings.

Turn on notifications

The app asks about notifications after you join your first ladder or send your first challenge, not when you first open it. We recommend saying yes. With notifications on, you can accept or decline a challenge right from the notification, without opening the app.

You can choose which notifications you get in Settings, under Notifications: challenges and matches, monthly matchups, reminders, ladder results, and organizer updates.

Links open in the app

When the app is installed, TennisLadder links from emails, such as a ladder page or a challenge, can open straight to the right screen in the app.
