Dispute a score
If a reported result is wrong or the match never happened, appeal it and your organizer will review.
Last updated
Players report their own results. If your opponent reports a score that is wrong, you can appeal it. Your organizer decides.
Appeal a result
- Open the match from the ladder's Matches tab, your match history, or the result notification.
- Tap Something's not right.
- Choose The score or winner is wrong or This match never happened.
- Add a note explaining what happened. This helps the organizer decide.
- Send it.
You see "The ladder organizer will take a look."
On the website, open the result link from your email and choose Something's not right.
What happens next
The match shows an Appealed label on the ladder while it is reviewed. The organizer sees both sides' notes and chooses:
- Keep result: the match stands.
- Remove: the match is removed. If it was the latest result, rankings go back.
If the organizer played in the match, or has no email address on file, the appeal goes to TennisLadder instead. You see "TennisLadder will take a look."
If the organizer keeps the result
If you still think the result is wrong, open the match and tap Ask TennisLadder to review. The match then shows Under review.
If you reported the wrong score
You do not need to appeal your own report. Open the match and tap Withdraw, as long as no appeal on it has been decided. Rankings go back and your opponent is told. Then report the correct score.
Report a player
For anything beyond a score, such as harassment or fake results, open the player's profile and use Report from the menu. You can also Block a player so they cannot challenge you.
